The farm was made famous by a popular BBC2 documentary charting the trials and tribulations of loveable Jimmy Doherty as he follows his dream of running a rare breed farm.

Now home to 500 rare breed pigs, all manner of other animals, a nature trail, adventure play area, café, deli counter and butchers shop, the farm is well worth a visit before or after your flight. And don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for famous faces - both animal and human.

Ideally located at Pannington Hall, Wherstead, just south of Ipswich, the launch site gives you the opportunity to see the city from an incredible new perspective as you soar skywards. Look out for major landmarks like the grand Town Hall, historic Saint Stephen's Church and Ipswich Town's stadium Portman Road.

You'll also see the River Orwell snaking its way through the docks into the city centre from the Suffolk coastline and glistening sea beyond.v

As you drift inland on the wind, the county's patch-work landscape will stretch away before you.
