The beautiful county of Kent, often referred to as the 'Garden Of England', fully deserves its compliment of four Virgin Hot Air Balloon launch sites, found dotted about the adorable countryside.
Lying to the East of the magnificent spa town of Tunbridge Wells is our Goudhurst launch site, an ideal location from which to explore the heart of this glorious county.
With the wind in the right quadrant you might find within minutes of take off that you are gazing down on the National Trust-owned Scotney Castle, one of many landmark attractions in the area.
Continuing on, your flight might take you across the vast, majestic reservoir that is Bewl Water and incidentally, home to another of our launch sites.
Of course the nearby spa town of Tunbridge Wells with all its splendour, is a major magnet for visitors, but just a few miles from the town are some fascinating landmarks that you may be fortunate enough to fly over. If not, then a visit by car would be worthwhile.
Close by, lies famous Chartwell, home to Winston Churchill for over 40-years whilst a more ancient family dwelling is that of Hever Castle, childhood home of the unfortunate Anne Boleyn.
With such beautiful attractions as Penshurst Place, one of England's finest historic houses and a full calendar of tourist events to be enjoyed in Tunbridge Wells, there is much to merit a weekend visit to this wonderful county.
